I'll wake up in a minute

And actually be at the Hyde match I should be at where we play crap and meekly surrender to Farsley, Right?

I must have been dreaming as we played some great football especially 1st half and blew Farsley away.

Lee Rick was awesome clear MOM for me and Holsgrove goal was a screamer. manship's lob woud have topped it though if that had have gone in.

I imagine Tolse will be keeping the Mancini look for a while.
In Tolse we trust!

Unless we are bottom at Christmas, then I will be holding a protest in the car park

4-1, what a result! I couldn't believe it when we went 4 up, it was nothing short of a brilliant performance, and the best of the season (and probably the best since we were top of the league in 2007). It appears that our early season form is returning, and it was brilliant. Rick was fantastic, Manship came up with some fine passing (and nearly scoring a 60 yarder, with their keeper saving brilliantly) and Holsgrove was buzzing around like he was on a mission! Well done Tolse, and well done for ditching the negative 'hoofing' and playing good attacking football, shots were flying in left, right and centre, and I loved it! We could have had 7 or 8, it really was that comprehensive.

It was one of the best attacking performances i've seen in years from us, and I hope it really is the dawn of the new era this time, which Tiger Feet is so desperately waiting for. Roll on Saturday!

Poor sad losers , The following is taken from Farsleys forum and this is their perspective on the game :

"That was dire. It was just one of those nights. I think the only positive we can take from that is that we won't play any worse than that. The worst thing was that Hyde weren't a good side and we didn't make them work for the result. Scott McNiven played centre mid for them and I think he touched the ball twice.
Krief scored the pen and Liburds tackle probably was a red but the lad started to get up and when he realised that everyone was getting excited proceeded to lie back down and make a meal of it".

Slightly bitter I think

Looked up for it last night right from the start, love the new formation and worked a gem... and Dear Kevin Holsgrove... SHOOT! N u pull of a beauty :)
My only worry is that we only have Mooney to play that role with DP not quite fit. Onwards and upwards!

It was a majestic performance last night one to remember for this season and possibly the morale boosting confidence injection we needed. Lets hope this is our second good start of the season, unbeaten in 2010 5 points from 9, a new management set up with Mr Hurst added to the senior leadership team.

And maybe Gerry's negativity being a defensive midfielder is already beginning to disappear, as we now have a voice on the bench in the more timid style of Tony Ellis in Glynn Hurst. The team is taking notice with him being a striker/forward who shoots and scores this certainly rubbed off onto the players as they were shooting like they had shit the bed

And Andy hopefully this will be the second coming.
This is a new dawn in the history of Hyde FC, lets hope the players realise this too.

They are incredibly bitter, as we found out in 2005, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_Premier_League_controversy_2005. Quite pathetic really, especially as they seem to regard us as big rivals now.

Exhilerating , exciting , energetic , electric , exhausting [ particuarly if you were a Farsley defender } , efficient. This performance had more e`s than your average episode of Shameless and as an added bonus we had a deputation from Bridge to witness the carnage.John Hall , Phil Hall , Lauren Hall you`d better hope you`d better pray we dont maintain this form because if we do and you still have M " arlene " in charge then you`ve got Fitz Hall chance.
Scott Mooney
A person well known within Hyde United circles remarked to me recently he didnt rate Mooney quoting Salford and Trafford , i would rather fancy he would have had a large slice of humble pie to accompany his butties at work today. I thought Scott Mooneys contribution was immense and all this total nonsense he cant last ninety minutes is exactly that. A watershed moment and i sincerely wish this precipitates a settled run in a tigers shirt , Rooneyesque [ his old fella wont thank me for that remark ] . We had Hank Marvin leading the line last night and Bruce Welch maurauding in the middle of the park , Farsley were chasing shadows all evening. A big up for Kevin Holsgrove as well because i think he deserves it.
A stellar display but swallows and summers well done Tols now lets have more of the same fare on Saturday

The Tigers ended their recent goal drought in dramatic fashion on Monday night by going four goals up immediately after half-time to secure their first victory since mid-September. Farsley pulled a goal back with a dubious penalty but this game was all about confidence and belief for Hyde and by the end they could have had more.

Hyde welcomed back Chris Lynch after his two game suspension had lasted six weeks and started with Scott Mooney upfront in place of Glyn Hurst. Both played their part in a excellent team performance. Farsley did their bit too in a pulsating game but their ponderous defence didn’t match their creative play going forwards.

Mark Lees signalled Hyde’s positive intentions as early as the 12th minute with a thunderbolt shot but was thwarted by a good save from Josh Bell. After breaking clear down the left, Lee Rick cut inside and put Hyde in front on twenty minutes. Kevin Holsgrove did the same on the right and sent a screamer into the back of the net for the second and then Rick again scored almost a replica of his first right on half time.

Within a minute of the restart, Holsgrove broke down the right and Mooney was on hand to score from close range. The visitors were on the rack but gained a lifeline on 53 minutes when Roy Stammer’s cross struck Lynch in the box. Referee Mr Copeland immediately pointed to the spot and Dominic Krief made no mistake.

All of a sudden Hyde started to panic as Farsley unexpectedly had a lifeline and there was a rocky 15 minute spell for the home side before normal service was resumed. Bell had to scramble away a long range effort from Scott McNiven before Tom Manship tested the ‘keeper with a 50 yard effort which he just managed to divert around the post. Mooney had the ball the net but was adjudged offside and Bell had to be at his best to keep out efforts from Matty Burke and Nathan Arnold as Hyde stormed to victory.

In the last few seconds Patrice Liburd was sent off for a dreadful unnecessary tackle on substitute Ben Rowbotham, who had only been on the pitch for two minutes, to complete a thoroughly bad night for the visitors.

Didn't say I didn,t rate him I said he can't seem to perform for the whole 90 minutes after his big step up the football
pyramid at the moment but certainly one for the future.

Salford,Trafford and NUNEATON (Trophy Replay)another game you didn't attend.
